Dr. Desai is a fellow of International Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons since 2004. He has a vast experience in performing whole body and focal liposuctions. He has served as Associate Professor in the department of surgery at KJ Somaiya Medical College and Research Centre, Mumbai for over 8 years. He has been performing liposuctions in Bangalore and Mumbai since 2004 with excellent results.

Liposuction is a surgical procedure that uses a suction technique to remove fat from specific areas of the body, such as the abdomen, hips, thighs, buttocks, arms or neck. Liposuction also shapes (contours) these areas. Other names for liposuction include lipoplasty and body contouring.

Liposuction is not a substitute for weight loss, but a method of removing fat that does not respond to dieting and exercise.
